1. Scientist Research Activity
In this one-pager, students research any scientist, fill in graphic organizer-style textbox prompts, and color in a lab coat to represent how the scientist would likely decorate their coat. Also included is a premade list of scientists broken down by types of science. Super fun and engaging for students in all types of science classes.
2. Science Video Handout – Use on ANY Science Video
This generic one-page video handout is set up like a graphic organizer and has prompts that range from summarizing, drawing, analyzing, rating and reviewing, and more! Use on any science video in a pinch! Perfect for when you find a great YouTube video, but can’t find a good worksheet for it.
3. DIY Wordsearch
Students follow directions to create a wordsearch AND define the terms in the word search. Just provide students a list of 8-15 vocabulary terms or let them choose their own from a chapter. This can be used for any topic or vocabulary terms, for any subject!
4. Comic Strip Activity
Students use a provided rubric and choice of two comic strip templates to create a comic strip on any science topic! I know my kids love making fun comics in science. These make gorgeous bulletin boards too!
5. Science Frayer Model – 2 Optionsย We all know Frayers are fantastic, but these pre-made frayers incorporate prompts are more science-like and include options that differentiate for all learning styles. Use any vocabulary terms of your or your students’ choice!
6. Vocabulary Toss Game
