Downloads
How do I find my downloads?
At the top of the page click MY ACCOUNT, then click DOWNLOADS in the list on the left. A link to all of your downloads can be found there.
You will also receive an automated email after each purchase with a link to every resource, so check your inbox and your spam or junk folder. Be sure to save your purchases to your hard drive and consider backing them up.
My download has a file-path error and will not open!
This is usually a character-length problem that happens when files sit in the Downloads folder on a PC. That folder is buried so deep on the computer that it can cause errors.
Try saving the file to My Documents instead of Downloads and see if that helps. If you are still stuck, email me and I will help you sort it out.
What types of resources do you sell?
Many resources come in both printable (PDF) and digital Google Slides™ formats. Some use Boom Learning for Boom Cards. Unless noted otherwise, please consider products non-editable.

General Questions
How do I place an order?
Add items to your cart and click MY CART at the top right of the website. On the next page you can enter any coupon code you have and click APPLY COUPON to update your total. Click PROCEED TO CHECKOUT to continue.
At checkout, fill in your contact information and check the box that reads I’VE READ AND ACCEPT THE TERMS OF USE. If you do not check this box you cannot complete your purchase. Then click PLACE ORDER.
After payment your download is added to your account automatically. To see your most recent orders, go to MY ACCOUNT › ORDERS.
Where can I purchase Science Is Real resources?
Science Is Real resources are available here on this website and in my Teachers Pay Teachers store. Each product is identical in both places.
Regular pricing is the same in both stores. Sale pricing may differ because of site-wide sales run by Teachers Pay Teachers.
Are there any advantages to buying here instead of Teachers Pay Teachers?
Yes. Buying directly lets me offer customer and product discounts that are not available on other marketplaces, and the annual Biology Membership is only available here.
The content of each resource is identical wherever you buy it.

Payment
What forms of payment do you accept?
You can pay by credit or debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or direct bank transfer (ACH) through our secure checkout.
We also accept purchase orders from schools, districts, and other educational institutions. See the Purchase Orders section for details. We do not accept personal checks or money orders outside of the purchase order process.
What is your refund policy?
Because we sell digital downloads, all sales are final and no refunds or exchanges are available.
If you are unsure whether a resource is right for your students, please email me before purchasing and I will gladly answer any questions.
I want to purchase multiple licenses. How does that work?
Each teacher license provides access for one teacher. Add the number of licenses you need to your cart and check out as normal.
Then email me with your order number and the name and email address of each additional teacher, and I will set up an account and access for each of them.
Am I responsible for sales tax?
Sales tax is applied where required by law, based on your location.
If your school or district is tax exempt, please email me a copy of your exemption certificate before purchasing so I can adjust your order.
Purchase Orders
Do you accept purchase orders?
Yes. Science Is Real Education accepts purchase orders from schools, districts, and other educational institutions for:
- Annual Biology Memberships
- One-time website purchases of $200 or more
When your cart qualifies, Purchase Order and Request a Quote appear as payment options at checkout.
What qualifies for a purchase order?
Annual Biology Memberships qualify regardless of how many teacher memberships you purchase.
One-time purchases must have a final qualifying subtotal of $200 or more. Promotional coupon codes and website sale pricing do not apply to purchase order purchases.
How do I start a purchase order?
Add the resources or the annual membership to your cart and go to checkout. When your order qualifies, you will see two extra payment options.
Request a Quote if your school needs pricing before it can approve the purchase. You will not be charged. Your quote is emailed to you right away, with a link to pay by card or upload a purchase order, and you can forward it to your finance office.
Purchase Order if you already have an approved purchase order. Enter your school or district name and PO number, upload the PO, and I will take it from there.
Is the quote an invoice?
No. The quote provides your school or district with the pricing and purchase information needed to move forward with approval.
An invoice is issued once your approved purchase order has been received and accepted. That is also the point at which teacher access is set up.
Can we pay with a school credit or debit card?
Yes. Your quote email includes a secure link to pay online by card, and you can forward it to your finance office so they can pay.
Card details are entered directly through the secure checkout. They are never handled by me.
We are paying by check. When do our teachers get access?
Once your purchase order is approved and I issue your invoice, I set up access right away. You do not have to wait for the check to clear.
Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date.

We purchased several teacher licenses. How does each teacher get access?
Each teacher license provides access for one teacher, and every licensed teacher receives their own Science Is Real Education website account.
Add the name and email address of each teacher in the Order notes box at checkout, or reply to your quote or order confirmation email with them. If you need to add a teacher later, just email me and I will set up their access.
Do purchase order memberships renew automatically?
No. Annual memberships purchased through a purchase order do not renew automatically, and no card is ever charged.
When it is time to renew, you will receive an email. Access pauses at the renewal date and resumes as soon as your new purchase order is approved. You can also pay the renewal online with a card from the link in that email.
Can I get a W-9 or a Sole Source Letter?
Yes. Both are available on request. Just email me and I will send them right over.
Can we purchase through Teachers Pay Teachers instead?
Yes. Teachers Pay Teachers accepts purchase orders and handles that process directly.
