This mini-project or sub-plan will take 2–3 class periods, and slower workers can finish for homework. Use as an independent study, group, or jigsaw activity. The booklet also makes a great interactive notebook resource, homework, or independent study assignment.
Students will create a booklet using the handout’s clear step-by-step directions and rubric. They will summarize and illustrate key concepts, including how cells get and use energy, the ATP–ADP cycle, the process of photosynthesis, the stages of cellular respiration, and the differences between aerobic and anaerobic respiration.
