In this peppered moth camouflage lab, students will be introduced to the peppered moth, adaptations, and natural selection in a 1-page reading comprehension with questions. Then students will color in a paper moth to camouflage it in your classroom. They will hide their moths in the classroom and then act as a predator as they try to find their classmates’ camouflaged moths. To culminate the activity, students will answer three analysis questions.
