• Codon Bingo Lesson Plan and Guide: This teacher’s guide walks you through how to easily set up your codon bingo game. It also includes a step-by-step procedure and information for two variations of ways to play this fun protein synthesis review game.

• How to Read a Codon Chart PowerPoint Presentation: This engaging 18 slide text-editable presentation reviews the central dogma of molecular biology, protein synthesis, and how to read a codon chart. It also includes practice slides and slides to model to students how to play the codon bingo game. PowerPoint and Google Slides versions are both included with your download.

• How to Read a Codon Chart Presentation Notes: Two versions are included – an interactive fill in the blank version and an already completed version to use as premade notes for students. Both include diagrams and digestible information covering the information presented in the presentation. Editable MS Word versions and Google Slides versions are both included.

• Bingo Cards: Two versions of cards are included so that you can print one to a page or two to a page. Students will randomly write amino acids onto these cards before beginning the game.

Simply print out the codon bingo cards, how to read a codon chart notes of your choice (2 versions included), and codon chart of choice (several versions included)! You can direct students to cross out the amino acids their bingo cards or provide some kind of marker pieces (paper pieces, coins, etc.) to mark their cards if you would like to reuse them.
